A SPECIAL NOTE:

We're living in especially challenging times. In the face of so much upheaval and uncertainty swirling around us, it can be difficult to know how to remain calm and centered— and feel safe.

There are calming practices that are useful when we're fearful or depressed. One of the most common is being focused on our breath and inviting it to slow down and "soften."

One particular approach you never hear about is finding deep—bone-deep—structural support within yourself as a consistently reliable way to feel solidly grounded.

Here's what I mean:  You can try this brief experiment with me right now, whether you're sitting or standing.

With your foot placed on a flat surface,  begin to press one of your heels down S-L-O-W-L-Y into the ground—the actual heel bone (called calcaneous). Feel the point of contact—not just the physical touch, but the profound awakening of cascading neural signals as your foot, leg, hip—and maybe more above—registers its connection to Earth.

It doesn't matter if you're on the twentieth floor of a high-rise building or standing in a forest; whatever surface your body contacts represents your connection to Earth.

In fact, your entire skeleton—a masterpiece of engineering—when naturally aligned, becomes your personal conduit to Earth's stabilizing energy. You become more grounded, anchored to what is solid and predictable.

The more anchored you are, the more freely you're able to rise up in response, whether it be your lengthening spine or your rising spirits.

If you think I'm going all woo-woo on you, this is based on physics—specifically a scientific phenomenon called "Ground Reaction Force." It's related to Newton's Third Law of motion, where every action has an equal and opposite reaction. Push down harder into Earth and the felt response is that much greater.

My personal experience with this is that when I am aware of myself as an aligned skeleton—meaning my bones are arranged as intended by our human design in relationship with the vertical axis of gravity—everything else is in its natural place, too, and I experience myself as more deeply connected to the world around me. This gifts me with a sense of "coming home" to who I really am and the personal "power"  that exists in me.

It doesn't mean I don't worry or experience fear or sometimes feel untethered. I do! It's frequently generated by terrifying thoughts that keep arriving in my mind unbidden. But it also means I am more able to rediscover being centered by physically experiencing myself as an integral part of the natural world, rather than disconnected and apart from it.

Earth itself is my anchor.

The last point I'll make about this is that, as far as I can tell, a misaligned skeleton has greatly reduced access to this exchange of energy, and the strength and comfort that comes from it.

Time has a way of surprising us. My grandson, whose birth seems like yesterday, just turned four. At 78, these milestones remind me why I do this work: to share this life-changing knowledge as widely as possible while I still can. Every person deserves an opportunity to understand their body's innate wisdom—and I feel growing urgency to help this message reach as many receptive people as possible.

All of this is to say that I am dropping the longtime price of my course from $497 to $297, with an option for three payments of $99. I do make it available at a reduced price during periodic sales, so you can think of this as a semi-permanent sale until further notice.

I'd like to give it away free, but bills are real! Still, I want to make this more readily  accessible because finding our inner ground becomes even more crucial when the ground beneath our society and our way of life feels shaky.

Please pass this along if you know someone who might be interested to learn more about this.

Thank you!
